Glenville State University will be closed on Friday, January 19, 2024 due to the Governor’s declaration of a State of Emergency for all 55 West Virginia counties due to the winter storm and to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and staff.
Employees should communicate with their supervisor regarding remote work responsibilities. Some personnel necessary to the operation of the University – including those who work in the Physical Plant, Dining Services, Housing, and Public Safety – are considered essential employees and are expected to report to campus unless otherwise instructed by your supervisor.
The Residential Dining Hall in the Mollohan Campus Community Center will operate on its normal schedule from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm. Freshens, Burgers and Fries operations are conditional based on staffing. Starbucks will be closed.
