Garnet Husk stopped by Ridgeview to show a curious pepper she had sliced into. Mike Propst was the gardener who grew the curious little pepper with the peculiar insides. When Garnet cut open the red pepper for her dinner she discovered a green pepper growing inside.
A post on a gardening site stated that it was mutant that grew a pepper inside a pepper. Green peppers are just unripe peppers. Since the inner one wasn’t exposed to the sun, it never ripened and stayed green.
Regardless, it was an interesting find.
