Squads Abroad has invited high school students and faculty to join a cohort on our Global Medical Academy on 8-day medical service programs around the world in June of 2025.
Four Calhoun Students have began their fund raising to have the opportunity to travel and study to a Study Abroad Mobile Health Clinic in Greece.
Lauren Lovejoy, Maycee Carter, Camron Jarvis, and Mason James have begun their fund raising efforts for Greece Learning experience. Look for their fundraising activities or reach out to each student if you’d like to support their trip.
On each trip, faculty and students will get 30+ hours of hands-on experience in patient intake, triage, patient consultation (shadowing doctors), and support in the pharmacy while volunteering in rural clinics. The program also includes fun and engaging cultural and enrichment activities each day. The students will be met by staff at the airport to organize all food, lodging, transportation, and logistics during their stay.
