Calhoun Banks would like to invite community members, businesses, organizations, and clubs to participate in our Christmas Tree Decorating contest. It has been several years since our last tree decorating contest, so we hope to see a grand reintroduction from our communities!
• Individuals or groups would supply their own trees and decorations for this contest.
• We would like to grant access to electric if needed for lights, therefore we would appreciate interested parties call (304) 354-2000 (Ammanda Frame) to confirm their participation.
• Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams at each location (subject for review based on participation)
• Each tree will be displayed in the following locations unless changes need to be made:
o Grantsville: Outside along the bottom parking lot facing the road
o Arnoldsburg: Outside along the sidewalk facing the road
o Elizabeth: Inside the lobby and hallways
o Glenville: Outside along the parking lot by the road
The contest will begin Monday, November 28th and all decorated trees will need to be completed by Friday, December 9th. Judging will take place Monday, December 12th. After the 12th, you may decide to leave your tree on display or take it down. All trees and decorations must be cleaned up by December 31st.
