David Allen Bailey 37, of Elizabeth WV, formerly of Arnoldsburg WV, passed away March 20, 2024, at his residence.
Attended Calhoun County high school, was an Iron worker member 787 Local Iron Workers of Parkersburg WV. David was excited that he was to start his apprenticeship in April.
He enjoyed kayaking, riding his motorbike, and helping others but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his daughter.
He is survived by his mother’s Dorene K Doolittle-Smith (Jerry) of NC and Glenna S Conley of Elizabeth.
Daughter Destiny Bailey, Fiancé Tasha Cleveland of Belpre OH, stepdaughter Kayden Cleveland. Brother James Bailey and nephew Jesse James Bailey of Arnoldsburg, Sister Tiffany Conley of Cambridge OH, stepbrothers George “Jordie” Brown (Jocelyn) of Elizabeth, and Lewis Smith (Hannah) of NC and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald D Bailey, grandparents Jesse James and Ellen Inez Bailey and Everett Earl and Alma Marie Doolittle.
Celebration of life will be 1:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV
