On the April 7th, 2023 at approximately 3:40 a.m. Trooper Brian E. Young of the WV State Police received a call from Calhoun County 911, which stated that a father had called in and reported his son was drunk and tearing up the TV and a life support machine at the address of 1031Left Rush Fork Rd, Orma, Calhoun County, WV.
When Trooper Young arrived on location and made contact with the accused (David Arthur Clary) and the victim, David Otis Clary) the victim state that his son had become intoxicated and was threatening to kill him. The father and son shared the same residence.
Trooper Young could detect the odor of alcohol coming from David Arthur Clary, who blew a .331% on the Officer’s PBT.
David Arthur Clary was placed under arrest and charged with Domestic Assault and taken to the WV Central Regional Jail. He is currently being held on a $5,000 bond awaiting trial.
