Grantsville’s Christmas tree made its way from an Athens, Ohio tree farm with the help of newly elected Commissioner Eric Lupardus and the donation of Steve Whited. The staff of The 1982 Foundation helped to get it in place in front of the Morris Realty Building at the corner of Market and Main Streets. A special lighting ceremony will be held following the Cody Clayton Eagle concert (which begins at 4 p.m.) on Main Street on Friday evening, and before the Christmas Parade which begins at 6 p.m.
