Calhoun County students are set to return January 4th, 2022. With so many families getting together over break to celebrate the holidays, school administration is urging everyone to do a COVID self check before sending students back to the classroom. Parents should be looking for any COVID related symptoms that may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Those symptoms may include:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
If you or anyone in your household should have any of these symptoms, please do not send your child to school. Contact a physician or Nurse Trudi Anderson at (304) 354-6148 Ext 219
Please be on the lookout for upcoming school events and activities as the year goes on. And as always thanks so much for supporting us on this journey to bring you your local news and weather!
Happy New Year!
