Due to the Electricity being out in the Phillips Run area and the continued power company work on the lines and poles in that area, Mt. Zion PSD cannot pump water. Higher elevations have already ran out and the lower elevations will be soon to follow. The electric lines will likely not be repaired until at least tomorrow, and then water will take some time to be pumped back into the tanks and out make its way through the lines and to the customer base.
Customer’s who currently have water should try to conserve.
With Mt. Zion not having a back up plan, it raises the question as to the location of a generator purchased several years ago that stopped working and why it has not been located and repaired.
