Perspective is everything. This picture represents one tenth of the total budget that will be invested in our community center. This should help us understand the magnitude of what we are embarking on in this region of WV. This is going to change the economic landscape of central WV. Calhoun is poised to benefit greatly if we do our part. The future of the big picture requires a few critical success factors.
The first critical success factor is “Shop local”. Shop with local small privately owned businesses. So let’s all challenge each other in addition to “small business Saturday” which will be Nov 25, let’s commit to shop EVERY SATURDAY (that we shop during this period) BETWEEN NOV 25 AND CHRISTMAS in our local businesses. Our local business owners give so much all year long. Let’s support their abilities to stay profitable and able to support our community. We need them to succeed. Successful small business is the first step on our journey.
