A group of Calhoun Citizens interested in forming a Calhoun Republican Club will be meeting at Mom’s Place Too in Grantsville on Monday, May 9 at 5 p.m. Anyone interested in the foundation of this group is welcome to attend.

Remele Sentenced in Calhoun

Christopher Lee Remele was sentenced to six months in the regional jail upon his conviction for possession of a controlled substance. Mr. Remele was originally sentenced to a term of probation. Subsequently, Mr. Remele was found to have violated the terms and conditions of said probation and the instant sentence was imposed.
