Brandon Michael Tallhammer appeared before Judge Anita Harold Ashley this morning, April 19, 2022, for what was originally a trial date. The State, Prosecuting Attorney Nigel Jeffries, made a motion to continue the case for trial on July 19th, at 9 a.m. with a pre-trial date of July 6th at 10 a.m. Defense counsel Daniel Minardo did not object to the continuance but requested that the current Home Confinement Order be lifted due to a Wood County Case which had Tallhammer on Supervised Probation.
Judge Ashley agreed that he had been faithful to make appearances and that she would agree to allowing the supervised probation if the defendant paid his home confinement bill which was past due by greater than $400 by his trial date. Tallhammer agreed and reported to the Sheriff’s office to have his ankle bracelet removed. It was at that time that a drug screening was run on him for which he failed. He was taken into custody by the Calhoun Sheriff’s Department and transported to the Central Regional Jail.
Tallhammer is facing felony charges for ”Fleeing in a vehicle with reckless endangerment.” from charges filed by Jeffrey Hunt for an October 21, 2021 high speed chase.
