Weekend Toy Run provided fun for the Riders, and future fun for Calhoun Kids

Eric Lupardus, local businessman and one of several sponsors of the weekend Toy Run, was pleased with their first ever effort to encourage motorcycle enthusiasts and groups to help provide toys for children in the Calhoun area. Toys will be delivered to the Calhoun County Family Resource Network in Grantsville this week to help local families during the Christmas Holiday.

Eric told the Ridgeview News “We had riders as far as Huntington who said they would definitely be back. Everyone absolutely had a great time and some even said that is was the first police escort they have ever had and loved it.” Mayor Robert Petrovsky welcomed the group with the City Cruiser’s lights as they arrived.

With several stops along the way the toy run ended its ride with a concert at the Country Kitchen, located at Big Otter, WV.
