At 7:19 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 Calhoun Control dispatched the Upper West Fork Volunteer Fire Department, Minnie Hamilton and Cpl. DC Moore of the West Virginia State police to the 22000 block of South Calhoun Highway for an automobile in the River.
Christina Hasse, in her late 70’s had been assisted out of the water before the Fire Department arrived. The river was elevated due to the recent rains, she was blessed that people were close by to assist.
