I met Amy Blake Smith several years ago when I spoke at a Christian Ladies Conference in the Buckhannon, West Virginia area. She is a gifted craftswomen, proven by the above picture of her finished 365 day creation.
Amy’s social media posted stated “My mom’s 2024 temperature blanket is done!! For those unfamiliar, I created a color and temperature scale (2nd pic) based on her living room colors. I created the knitting pattern I would follow.
Then every morning I would check the previous day’s high temperature for her town (3rd pic) and knit the corresponding color.
-All or part of 18 skeins were used.
-Approximately 200 hours was invested.
-It’s approximately 54” wide x 104” long.
