The 3rd ANNUAL Fred Church Jr. Youth Turkey Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 13th, as part of The 1982 Foundation’s Spring FLING. Participants need to register to participate. WV hunting rules and regulations must be followed during the youth hunt. There will be prizes and giveaways to all and awards for those who bag the top Turkeys. Each Turkey is scored and processed if desired. This is an event that hopefully inspires more kids to start enjoying the outdoors and to keep the tradition of hunting alive!
The Grand Prize Drawing is 2 WV Lifetime Hunting and Fishing Licenses!
We are seeking donors and sponsors.
*Each year the Church Family provides 2 Lifetime WV Hunting and Fishing Licenses to a couple lucky youth hunters. They rely on donations for the smaller prizes. Thanks to those who donated during the past 2 years of the event, over 200 kids have walked away winning prizes from turkey calls to brand new shotguns.
