Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 3:55 p.m. to Route 5 West between Big Root Road and Carroll Road. Mark Fugett II was traveling east when his right front tire sidewall blew out pulling him over the hill where he struck a tree. Trooper Josh Richards was the investigating officer.
Mr. Fugett received no injuries but his 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander sustained a great deal of damage.
