Calhoun Middle High School has games postponed due to water issues

Following issues within the Mt Zion Public Service District system, and a loss of water creating low pressure throughout the system, Jeremy Westfall, Chief Operator has been checking the separate sections of line to determine what area he is losing water in. At one point it was discovered that there were issues at Calhoun Middle High School, causing the school staff to go in search of possible leaks. Superintendent Kelli Whytsell informed Ridgeview News that Michael Fitzwater and the maintenance department have walked the building again and determined that they do not have any leaks.  The water is now on and they are continuing to check the system.

However, due to the previous issues and low water pressure, the Varsity boys basketball game vs. Clay and Middle School girls basketball game vs. Gilmer are both postponed for this evening. Reschedule dates and times will be posted as soon as they are made available.
