The Youth League Dirt Devils Softball Team of Calhoun were celebrated on the Wood Festival State on Main Street with Champion Rings from the LKC Youth Football Champions and parents, Handmade Trophies by Butch Ford, and a sweet treat for the coaches from Faye Barnhart.
The Dirt Devils finished their Spring 2023 season with 14 wins and 0 losses. Coach Barnhart said “Just a little team of girls from Calhoun that beat teams from Glenville, Nutter Fort, Weston, Jane Lew, Clarksburg, Bridgeport…and then won it all in the tournament. #1 Champion Calhoun Dirt Devils!”

The rings were donated by players and parents of the B-team football team not by the 1982 Foundation.
The rings were a gift from one championship team to another championship team.
