While perusing their website I discovered that the nearest Maple farm to Calhoun County is Croagh Patrick, located at 2700 Third Run Road, Glenville, WV. According to their information they are experimenting with maple syrup production, with the intention of producing enough to share with friends and family, and to share learning experiences with other beginners. They are not however listed as a participant in the February or March event.
The nearest event to Calhoun County is one at Gray Farms in Philippi, West Virginia which is a few hours away, but might be worth the drive if you’re in the market for a Maple Treat and discovering more West Virginia talent.
