An altercation that reportedly started at Baker’s Mart in Grantsville, was shortly thereafter reported to be occurring at Grantsville Foodland. The West Virginia State Police began their investigation on Sunday evening, September 17th, 2023 as to why two young men were reportedly into a confrontational conversation that ended in violence. James Winkler and Caden Sweat, both of Grantsville are being investigated as to why the fight happened, but no charges have been filed.
