Terry Hickman said that she was “feeling very blessed and thankful to place 1st for my homemade cherry pie for a two crust pie, and placing 3rd for my homemade coconut cream pie for a one crust pie at the West Virginia State Folk Festival in Glenville on Saturday, June 22, 2024
Last year her homemade coconut cream pie placed 1st and the homemade cherry placed 2nd.
She was awarded a beautiful wooden lazy susan handcrafted by Gilmer County resident and pie dish made by Matt Thomas.
