Chief Joe Tanner applied and received a grant from the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation for the Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department in the amount of $7,451.00 to be used towards the purchase of water rescue equipment.
The Arnoldsburg VFD recently purchased a specialized inflatable boat for water rescues and flooding, and with this additional money they can also purchase cold water suits, throw ropes, helmets, life vests, and much more. Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department continues to serve their community making sure they have the best possible resources available when needed.
