Tuesday’s Circuit Court began with the continuation of several cases that had been previously set for trial, but were continued to give precedence to incarcerated individuals.
- In the matter State v. Jamie D. Bailey, 24F-7 and 24-F-13, a new trial date of February 11, 2025 at 9 a.m. was set with Pretrial notification if needed.
- 22-F-23, State v. Dylan Paul Little and 22-F-24, State vs. David Paul Little, a new trial date of March 4th, 2025 was set for both cases.
- 23-F-18 State v. Christopher Allen Johnson, a new trial date of April 15th, 2025 at 9 a.m. was set.
- 24-F-23 State v. Tina Lynn King, a joint motion to continue for trial on February 11th, 2025 at 9 a.m. with Pretrial as needed.
- 24-F-24 State v. Travis Wayne Sampson Did not appear.
- 24-F-25 State v. Michael Edward Neal, Trial continued to February 11th 2025
In the matter of 24-F-18, State v. Jody Alan Satterfield, charged with Attempted Murder and Attempted Arson, pre-trial motions were heard by Judge Anita Harold Ashley from Prosecuting Attorney Michael Hicks and Defense Attorney John Balenovich. A jury was seated and the trial began at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3rd.
Multiple State witnesses were questioned including testimony from the victim and others, with the trial stopping at approximately 3:30 p.m. The trial will continue this morning at 9:00 a.m. with the reconvening of the jury.
