Off Duty Home Confinement Officer, Cody Parsons, was driving a Suzuki ATV on Leaf Bank Road, West of Grantsville when a witness to the accident said it appeared his throttle possibly stuck. He stated that ”He was in a ‘wheelie” position when he hit the bank and rolled down.”
Sheriff Warren Basnett was on scene and said from the looks of the injury his leg was likely broken. Calhoun EMS transported him to Calhoun General for assessment. The investigating officer is Trooper J. Richards of the West Virginia State Police.
