According to a complaint filed by former Sheriff Warren Basnett, on or about March 10, 2023, Eric Joseph Blake did take a three wheeler belonging to Joshua Parsons from where Josh had left it. Blake then took the three wheeler to Phillip Keener’s garage after hours where he was allowed entry by Phillip Keener’s daughter. The three wheeler was left there over the weekend until the garage owner found it the following week. The three wheeler stolen was a Kawasaki LT250C.
Blake was arrested for Receiving/Transferring Stolen Property and taken to the Central Regional Jail on May 6th, 2023 where he remains on a $5,000 cash/surety bond. If convicted he faces 1-5 years in prison. He is however considered innocent until proven guilty.
