My name is Brenda Ball and I will be on the Republican ballot in the primary for your County Commissioner.
I am married to Randy Ball and we have two children who have grown to make us very proud. Our son Caleb, married Lindsey, and our daughter Chelsey is married to Matt Robinson.
We have six precious grandchildren all age six and under. Case, Job, Sydney, Arlee, MaeLynn and Colt. Our children were obedient to the Lord when he commanded “Be Fruitful and Multiply,” but I’m loving this Granny Life.
As a Calhoun County Citizen for almost 40 years, I’ve seen some come, but so many leave. With all the new and exciting things being proposed for our captivating Calhoun County, I’ve decided that now is the time to throw my BALL in the court.
I fully understand the duties and capabilities of commissioner. My only campaign promise is that I will put my whole heart in this position and devote all my time should I have the honor of serving
you.
My top priorities are expanding broadband services, marketing to grow Calhoun County businesses, and making our home a tourist attraction.
As so many in rural West Virginia, including my own home, Calhoun County struggles with high-speed, reliable internet. If elected, I will do my part to see that The Last Mile project transpires as far as possible.
WE know that Calhoun County is a charming place full of hardworking people with hearts of gold. The young people are the future. I will do my best to give them a place to be proud of, call home, build a career, and stay here to raise a family of their own. Let’s do our part to promote current businesses and develop new ones.
I would like to see Calhoun on the map as a tourist attraction. We have been blessed with the best landscaping West Virginia has to offer. We have flowing rivers nestled between rolling hills. We want to invite our fellow West Virginians to fish our streams and hike our hills. That brings new opportunities for new businesses and restaurants.
I am team Red Devil! I will be part of the building crew not the wrecking ball should I be fortunate enough to be elected as your Calhoun county Commissioner!!!
