Tony McCune appeared before Judge Anita Harold Ashley in the Calhoun County Circuit Court on Thursday, October 6, 2022 for a pretrial conference on the charge of Sexual Assault 1st Degree. Prosecuting Attorney Nigel Jeffries appeared on behalf of the State of WV and Attorney Joel Baker represented Mr. McCune.
Discovery had been provided to both the defense and prosecution, but Prosecutor Jeffries stated that there could possibly be additional discovery to be made to the defense for which a discovery conference will be scheduled in a few weeks.
The trial was continued for December 13th, 2022 at 9 a.m.
