Calhoun County Park Welcomes Fishers Young and Old as the Spring Activities Begin

Jacob Shrader and Jaxon Shrader received new fishing poles donated by Calhoun Banks and Dominion Energy as they arrive to the Youth Fishing Day at Calhoun County Park Ponds
Jason Arnold of Dominion Energy who paid for the trout stocking and joined with Calhoun Banks in providing new fishing gear for the first 30 youth under 17 who came to the Youth Fishing Day at the park.

Youth Fishing Day at the Calhoun County Park began at 8 a.m. with two newly trout stocked ponds. Several families attended the event where new memories were being made and old memories were being shared. The pictures speak far more than words! There will be an additional stocking in two weeks. The trout are from Indian Lake Hatcheries.
