Although little has been confirme/d, Calhoun EMS has received a two week suspension for ”Licensure issues” according to Julie Sear, OES and Emergency Services Director. This is a developing story and will be covered in greater detail when State officials can be reached. At the present time Minnie Hamilton Health Systems have called in crews to cover the county until this matter is resolved.

Metz facing charges of Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication
According to a Criminal Complaint filed by Trooper Brian Young, on Monday, September 5, 2022 at approximately 5:30 p.m. he received a call from Calhoun County Dispatch in reference to a drunk female walking on the roadway near 1289 East Little Kanawha Highway in Grantsville, WV. The caller had stated the individual was drunk and yelling and removing her clothing.
