Calhoun FRN Provides Multiple Resources to the Community

Calhoun Family Resource Network, located in Grantsville is a local coalition working to improve services for families and children in Calhoun County. Their organization works to assess community needs, develop local plans, promote changes, evaluate results, and assist agencies in improving the service delivery system. One such effort took place on the sidewalk outside their office as they provided training and the provision of NarCan to several community members who stopped by on Thursday, September 8. NarCan is a medicine that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose. Calhoun FRN and the Domestic Abuse Response team with Lori Fleagle will continue to offer NarCan to anyone in the community who would like to keep it on hand. Call for more information at 304-354-7177.

In addition to the the Calhoun FRN resources three additional agencies participated in the day’s information sharing event.
