The Calhoun Gilmer Career Center, in an effort to connect businesses and organizations with students who will soon be seeking employment opportunities, hosted an all day Career Fair for any Freshman through Senior from the County Schools. A wide variety of employers and schools came to present their opportunities and allow students to see their future potential in the industries of their choice. The staff of the Dollar General Store in Grantsville have been on an emotional rollercoaster with the on again, off again closure of the Grantsville Store. Calhoun Middle School Students Ryleigh Garrett, Kylie Caudill, Evan Burch and Brennah Casner collaborated in Mr. Josh Johnson’s science class to create a book titled Orion and the Dark Skies.
