August 14, 2023 – Calhoun County, WVThe Calhoun High School Golf Team competed with 12 other teams in the St. Marys Tournament on August 10th. Landon Bennett was a low medalist with a score of 76. All team members had improvement from the prior week by reducing strokes by 51 strokes. Golfers also participated in the Wirt Invitational on August 11th. The Mingo Bottom Golf Course was in beautiful shape and presented a challenging round for the teams. Landon Bennett finished with an 81.
The August 14th match at North Bend was canceled due to weather.
