COUNT ONE: BURGLARY
That TINA KING on or about the day of June 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, committed the crime of Burglary when TINA KING did unlawfully and feloniously break and enter a dwelling house, as that term is defined by West Virginia Code § 61-3-11(b), to wit: a residence located at 503 Bear Run Road Orma, West Virginia with the intent to commit a larceny therein, a felony in violation of W. Va. Code § 61-3-11, and being against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.
COUNT TWO: PETIT LARCENY
That TINA KING on or about the day of June 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, committed the crime of Petit Larceny when TINA KING did unlawfully, knowingly, and intentionally take property with the intent to permanently deprive the owner, Matthew McCumbers, of the following: one 36″ television, with total value less than $1,000.00, a misdemeanor, said act being in violation of W. Va. Code § 61-3-13(b), and being against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.
Found upon the testimony of Senior Trooper Joshua D. Richards, WVSP, duly sworn in open Court to testify to the truth and sent before the said Grand Jury to give evidence on this Indictment, on this the 3rd day of September, 2024.

COUNT TWO: BURGLARY
That TRAVIS WAYNE SAMPSON and MICHAEL EDWARD NEAL between the day of April 2024 and the _day of April 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, committed the crime of Burglary when TRAVIS WAYNE SAMPSON and MICHAEL EDWARD NEAL did unlawfully and feloniously break and enter a dwelling house, as that term is defined by West Virginia Code § 61-3-11(b), to wit: a residence located at 319 Granny She Road Chloe, West Virginia with the intent to commit a larceny therein, a felony in violation of W. Va. Code §61-3-11, and being against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.
COUNT THREE: CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT A FELONY
That TRAVIS WAYNE SAMPSON and MICHAEL EDWARD NEAL on or between the day of April 2024 and the day of April 2024in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia did intentionally and feloniously conspire to commit the crime of Grand Larceny, a felony, with each other and that one or more of TRAVIS WAYNE SAMPSON and MICHAEL EDWARD NEAL committed some act in furtherance of said conspiracy, by committing the crime of Grand Larceny, a felony, as alleged in Count 1 herein, said act being a felony in violation of W. Va. Code § 61-10-31 and being against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.
COUNT FOUR: CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT A FELONY
That TRAVIS WAYNE SAMPSON and MICHAEL EDWARD NEAL on or between the day of April 2024 and the_day of April 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia did intentionally and feloniously conspire to commit the crime of Burglary, a felony, with each other and that one or more of TRAVIS WAYNE SAMPSON and MICHAEL EDWARD NEAL committed some act in furtherance of said conspiracy, by committing the crime of Burglary, a felony, as alleged in Count 2 herein, said act being a felony in violation of W. Va. Code § 61-10-31 and being against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.

COUNT ONE: FAILURE TO REGISTER OR PROVIDE NOTICE OF REGISTRATION CHANGES ON CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT REGISTRY (2) OFFENSE)
That JACOB LEE HITE between the day of April 2024 and the day of May 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, did commit the crime of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry (2^d Offense) when JACOB LEE HITE feloniously and knowingly failed to provide a change of required information pursuant to Chapter 15, Article 13 of the West Virginia Code, to wit: JACOB LEE HITE failed to provide or update the West Virginia State Police with information related to the address at which the said JACOB LEE HITE resided as required by West Virginia Code §§ 15-13-2(e)(2) and 15-13-3, and the said JACOB LEE HITE is required to register as a child abuser until July 3, 2029, by virtue of a prior conviction in Roane County, West Virginia, and the said JACOB LEE HITE has been previously convicted of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, to wit: on December 1, 2022, in Cabell County, West Virginia in violation of West Virginia Code § 15-13-7(b), a felony, against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.

That JACOB LEE HITE between the day of April 2024 and the _day of May 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, did commit the crime of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry (2nd Offense) when JACOB LEE HITE feloniously and knowingly failed to provide a change of requiredinformation pursuant to Chapter 15, Article 13 of the West Virginia Code, to wit: JACOB LEE HITE failed to provide or update the West Virginia State Police with information related to the place of employment at which the said JACOB LEE HITE was employed as required by West Virginia Code §§ 15-13-2(e)(2) and 15-13-3, and the said JACOB LEE HITE is required to register as a child abuser until July 3, 2029, by virtue of a prior conviction in Roane County, West Virginia, and the said JACOB LEE HITE has been previously convicted of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, to wit: on December 1, 2022, in Cabell County, West Virginia in violation of West Virginia Code 15-13-7(b), a felony, against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.

That JACOB LEE HITE between the day of April 2024 and the day of May 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, did commit the crime of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry (2nd Offense) when JACOB LEE HITE feloniously and knowingly failed to provide a change of required information pursuant to Chapter 15, Article 13 of the West Virginia Code, to wit JACOB LEE HITE failed to provide or update the West Virginia State Police with information related to K.W.(D.O.B. 3/30/2010), a minor child with whom the said JACOB LEE HITE resided with as required by West Virginia Code §§ 15-13-2(e)(4) and 15-13-3, and the said JACOB LEE HITE is required to register as a child abuser until July 3, 2029, by virtue of a prior conviction in Roane County, West Virginia, and the said JACOB LEE HITE has been previously convicted of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, to wit: on December 1, 2022, in Cabell County, West Virginia in violation of West Virginia Code§ 15-13-7(b), a felony, against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.
COUNT FOUR: FAILURE TO REGISTER OR PROVIDE NOTICE OF REGISTRATION CHANGES ONCHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT REGISTRY (2ND OFFENSE)
That JACOB LEE HITE between the day of April 2024 and the _day of May 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, did commit the crime of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry (2nd Offense) when JACOB LEE HITE feloniously and knowingly failed to provide a change of required information pursuant to Chapter 15, Article 13 of the West Virginia Code, to wit JACOB LEE HITE failed to provide or update the West Virginia State Police with information related to H. W. (D.O.B. 4/18/2014), a minor child with whom the said JACOB LEE HITE resided with as required by West Virginia Code §§ 15-13-2(e)(4) and 15-13-3, and the said JACOB LEE HITE is required to register as a child abuser until July 3, 2029, by virtue of a prior conviction in Roane County, West Virginia, and the said JACOB LEE HITE has been previously convicted of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, towit: on December 1, 2022, in Cabbell County, West Virginia ni violation of West Virginia Code § 15-13-7(b), a felony, against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.
COUNT FIVE: FAILURE TO REGISTER OR PROVIDE NOTICE OF REGISTRATION CHANGES ON CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT REGISTRY (2ND OFFENSE)
That JACOB LEE HITE between the day of April 2024 and t h e day of May 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, did commit hte crime of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry (2nd Offense) when JACOB LEE HITE feloniously and knowingly failed ot provide a change of required information pursuant to Chapter 15, Article 13 of the West Virginia Code, to wit JACOB LE HITE failed ot provide or update the West Virginia State Police with information related ot K.W. (D.O.B. 11/08/2015), a minor child with whom the said JACOB LEE HITE resided with as required by West Virginia Code § 15-13-2(e)(4) and 15-13-3, and the said JACOB LEE HITE si required ot register as a child abuser until July 3, 2029, yb virtue of a prior conviction ni Roane County, West Virginia, and the said JACOB LEE HITE has been previously convicted of Failure ot Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, ot wit: on December 1, 2022, in Cabel County, West Virginia ni violation of West Virginia Code § 15-13-7(b), a felony, against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.
COUNT SIX: FAILURE TO REGISTER OR PROVIDE NOTICE OF REGISTRATION CHANGES ON CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT REGISTRY (2 OFFENSE)
That JACOB LEE HITE between the day of April 2024 and the day of May 2024 ni the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, did commit the crime of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry (2* Offense) when JACOB LEE HITE feloniously and knowingly failed to provide a change of required information pursuant ot Chapter 15, Article 13 of the West Virginia Code, to wit JACOB LE HITE failed ot provide or update the West Virginia State Police with information related to H. W. (D.O.B. 06/09/2017), a minor child with whom the said JACOB LE HITE resided with as required by West Virginia Code § 15-13-2(e)(4) and 15-13-3, and the said JACOB LE HITE is required ot register as achild abuser until July 3, 2029, by virtue of aprior conviction inRoane County, West Virginia, and the said JACOB LEE HITE has been previously convicted of Failure to Register or Provide Notice of Registration Changes on the Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, to wit: on December ,1 2022, ni Cabell County, West Virginia in violation of West Virginia Code § 15-13-7(b), a felony, against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.

COUNT ONE: DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
That TIFFANY KINTER on or about the day of February 2024 in the County of Calhoun, State of West Virginia, committed the crime of Destruction of Property when TIFFANY KINTER did unlawfully, willfully, intentionally, and feloniously destroy, injure, or deface the personal property of Ricky Dale Hall and Erica Marie Smith during the same act, series of acts, or course of conduct causing a loss in the value of personal property in an amount of $2,500.00 or more, a felony in violation of W. Va. Code § 61-3-30(b), and being against the peace and dignity of the State of West Virginia.

An indictment formally charges a person with a crime. During an indictment proceeding, a grand jury determines if there is adequate basis for bringing criminal charges against a suspected criminal actor. The defendant remains innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
