Calhoun Middle High School presented the Graduation Commencement of the Class of 20 22 in the High School Gymnasium on Friday evening at 7 p.m. Forty Seven students received diplomas for their years of hard work and accomplishments having gone through some of the strangest and trying of times navigating through the years of pandemic with on again, off again schooling.
The 2022 Valedictorian was Miss Anne Pingley who plans to attend West Virginia University this fall to pursue a degree in Finance or Economics.
The 2022 Salutatorian was Miss Josie Montgomery who plans to attend Concord University while playing golf and basketball.
A most touching tribute from the Class of 2022 was the honor paid to Miss Allie Brannon who passed away at a very young age. Allie no doubt made a lasting impact on her classmates who made sure she had her place during the ceremony.
