Carsie Green Conley, 98, of Chloe, WV, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Ohio Valley Healthcare, Parkersburg, WV.
Carsie was born June 22, 1927, in Calhoun County, WV, to the late Okey and Myrtle Jarvis Conley.
On July 3, 1955, Carsie and Nina Butler were united in marriage. Together they raised five children, Phyllis James (husband Donn) of Heathers, WV; Stephen Conley (wife Marcie) of Mineral Wells, WV; Katheran Thomas (husband Rick) of Millstone, WV; Richard Conley (wife Kathy) of Morgantown, WV; and Karen Belknap (husband Fred) of Gassaway, WV. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sister Oleta Yentz
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Janet Lynn; daughter-in-law, Alice Shaver Conley; son-in-law, Rick Thomas, two infant grandchildren, brothers Ray, John, Claret, and Harley Conley, and sisters Mildred Lewis and Ordie Offett.
Carsie retired from Calhoun County Schools following 25 years of service as a bus driver. He took great pride in caring for his home and family.

Funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home and Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Friday, January 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Minister Ben Adams officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to the service, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Interment will be in Hicks Cemetery, Chloe, WV.
