Chloe Home Burglarized by Michael Neal

In a complaint filed in Calhoun Magistrate Court on May 10th, 2024, Trooper Brian E. Young stated that on or about April 10, 2024, the accused, Michael Neal, entered a locked residence, located at 319 Granny She Rd, Chloe, Calhoun County, WV, while no one was present, and removed multiple household items.

Items reported missing were: camping items, work hand tools, multiple Dewalt cordless power tools to include batteries and chargers, and 12 pair of homemade iron tool plyers with the a special seal stamped on them made by the homeowner. Also taken were a Simder brand Tig Welder valued at $299, 2005 Honda CRF 230 motorcycle red in color, red and white in color, a 2007 orange and black in color KTM 300 c motorcycle valued at $4000, a Honda Fore Traxx 360 valued at $1000, a 2005 Ford F-250 valued at $8000, with WV license plate 1WD389, forge blower for making iron and metal tools, 3 gun safes with multiple rifle, shotguns, and handguns. and a blue in color Westinghouse generator valued at $1200. The guns included a Mossberg Shockwave Shotgun valued at $800, Tokarev Pistol 7.62 valued at $800, Walther P22 w/hardcase value d at $300, Ruger 357 Magnum valued at $869.

On April 30, 2024, the victim and homeowner, Jesse Allan, came home from a two-month trip and called and reported a burglary at his home located at 319 Granny She Rd, Chloe, Calhoun County, WV.

On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Trooper Young responded to a burglary taking place at 319 Granny She Rd., Chloe, Calhoun County, WV. When he spoke with the victim, Jesse Allan, who stated his family had left approximately 2 months ago to work and vacation. He stated that he had been contacted approximately 2 weeks ago by his neighbor, who informed him that his truck was missing from the driveway, and it appears someone had entered his house because the door was open.

The victim stated he had been contacted by Deputy Williams, of the Braxton County Sheriff’s Department and informed his stolen pickup truck was discovered on Buttermilk Road, approximately 7 miles from his residence.

Officers Williams and Young then drove the victim to Buttermilk Road, and located his abandoned vehicle. The battery was taken from the vehicle as well as the license
plate.

Michael Edward Neal of Ivydale, WV was arrested on June 5th, 2024 and taken to the WV Central regional Jail. He is being held on a $75,000 bond.
