It Is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Corbett Boothe, 72, of Mt. Zion, WV. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, with sudden passing on March 20, 2025.
Christine was born on October 28, 1953 in Chardon, Ohio, and lived a life filled with joy, laughter ,and a deep love for family. Christine loved to cook, work in her garden, and Spend time with her family. Christine is united in marriage to her late husband donzil Boothe on November 8, 1969.
Christine preceded in death by her husband Donzel Boothe, her father George Matthew Corbett, stepfather Don Davis, great-grandma Merle Frances, and great-grandpa Paul Frances.
Christine is survived by her three sons Richard Boothe of Mt. Zion, Brian Boothe (Becky) of Stumptown, WV, Mark Boothe of Parkersburg, grandchildren Jasmine Boothe, Matthew Boothe, Amanda McPherson (Todd), one great-grandchild Addison McPherson, her mother Eleanor Davis, and her siblings Sandy Sullivan, Donna Susnjara, Chuck Davis, Lorna McFadden and Ray Leggett.
A private family service will be held. Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 107 Market St., Grantsville, WV, 26147, has been entrusted to honor Mrs. Boothe’s wishes of funeral arrangements. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill UMC Cemetery, Grantsville.
