Creston News Week of January 5th

There were no services at the Burning Springs M. E. Church as some of the women members were sick and didn’t want to share their virus [or whatever] with others.

Creston had snow on the ground and now snow is falling in part of what has been called to be a major winter storm.  Locally there had been electric and internet outages. For certain the unreliable electric service has been a boon for those selling generators. One local resident who just purchased his Generac got to use it two times one day within the first week after buying it..  One local resident noted that the unreliable internet service makes it difficult to operate a business.  There is talk of folks going to Elon Musk’s Starlink as it is said to be reliable & dependable.

A resident of the Sanoma road reported that she received a call from First Energy stating that on Monday there would be a “planned power outage to upgrade the system’. Considering the weather she noted that there might well be a power outage but it would be very unlikely that it was intentional.

Former president James Earl Carter died age 100.  He lived long enough to find out that he was not the worst president ever.  He gave away the Panama Canal which is now operated by the Chinese Liberation Army.  Sen. Robert C. Byrd was a big pusher for the give away & he said state residents were too ignorant to “see the big picture”. Byrd who was the Grand Kleagle for the Ku Klux Klan was an ardent pusher for his clients & he retired/died a multi millionaire.  Many W. Va. Residents, some from Gilmer County, worked to build the Panama Canal.

Carter and his  buddy Burt Lance said we should get our oil from the sands of Araby & buddy Burt was deeply involved in “Arab banking”. Drilling was shut down in America and the drilling rigs were cut up for scrap and sold as junk to be used for hardware for the communist Chinese army & navy. One local fellow who working in the oil patch was buying used tires for $10 each and carrying two spares in his chariot to make sure major bills were paid off before the inevitable termination of employment.  Carter was for Hamas & other terror groups that were against Israel — so much for being a Sunday school teacher.  One well that was being drilled in Roane County was shut down with half of the hole drilled.

It was reported that the new “bird flu” was found in a flock in Pocahontas County.  The new GMO virus was made in the USDA Poultry Research Lab in Athens Georgia.  Local residents, as do folks elsewhere, keep flocks of chickens to supply eggs and meat. Bill Gates says there are too many of us.  Could it be that some “in the government” work for him instead of us?  Gates now wants to put m-rna viruses in mosquitos so when we get bit we get the lethal injections.  A recent study in the United Kingdom found that 95% of those who died from covid (Dr. Fauci’s disease) had been given the “vaccine”.

EQT sold a chuck of their “midstream” [their pipelines] to Blackrock for $3.5 billion.

Craig “Baldy” Blair who had been W. Va. Senate president has taken a job with a Cleveland based lobbying firm.  One can draw one’s own conclusions.

It was reported that there was recent action in the W. Va. Supreme Court and someone in W. Va. Government wants the court to set aside the “Tawney Case”.  There are those who want local citizens to be paid $300/year for gas wells, regardless of the volume and those who want unlimited deductions to be taken from royalties even if the leases prohibit such.

The price of local Pennsylvania grade crude rose to $72.96/bbl. With condensate fetching $54.96/bbl. And Marcellus & Utica light bringing $61.96/bbl.  NYMEX natural gas was $3.35/MMBTU.
