Cunningham sentenced to Term of 15 years by Judge Anita Harold Ashley

Judge Anita Harold Ashley presided over the June 8th, 2022 Court cases for the sentencing of Eddie Ladell Cunningham and Carl Haydon Wilson as well as the parole of Victor Carpenter. 

Defendant Eddie Ladell Cunningham was sentenced to a determinate term of fifteen (15) years of incarceration to be served in the penitentiary for the crime of Conspiracy to Commit a Violation of the State Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Defendant Cunningham’s Calhoun County sentence was ordered to run consecutive to his sentence out of Wood County for DUI Causing Death. Judge Anita H. Ashley presiding. 

Defendant Carl Hayden Wilson’s probation was revoked upon the motion of the state of West Virginia for absconding from probation supervision. Thereafter, Defendant Wilson was sentenced to an indeterminate term of incarceration of not less than one (1) nor more than five (5) years to be served in the penitentiary for the crime of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. Judge Anita H. Ashley presiding. 

Defendant Victor Carpenter was paroled from Home Confinement to probation for a term of three (3) years.
