Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department and Minnie Hamilton EMS was dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Rt.33 in the Millstone area on Monday, December 5th. Upon arrival they discovered a car on its top in the creek and on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished and one person was transported to Minnie Hamilton for treatment. Trooper Young of the WV State Police investigated the incident stating that the Chevy Malibu was headed west on 33/119 and encountered a deer in the road. The driver ran off the left side of the road and flipped over belly-up in the creek. The driver had removed herself from the vehicle before emergency services arrived.
