Delores Madeline Yoak 83 of Grantsville WV passed away Sunday October 19, 2025, at her residence after a short illness. She was born June 20, 1942, in Wirt County, the daughter of the late James J and Clara M Jones Kelley. Madeline spent several years taking care of the elderly. She enjoyed attending sings with friends.
She is survived by her daughter Kelli (Scott) Whytsell, Sons Terry Yoak, Jeff (Leslie) Yoak, James Matt (Shelina) Yoak. Four grandchildren Jessica Donaldson, Nick (Katlynn) Whytsell, Kassidy Yoak, Keira Yoak. Two Step grandchildren Austin King and Mikayla King. Three great grandchildren Cole and Saylah Donaldson and Renlee Whytsell. Special niece Kaye Yoak who took wonderful care of her. One sister Leona Pettit of Tanner, brother – in – laws Robert Peppers and Robert Yoak, sister- in -laws Betty Kelley, Edna Robinson and Hazel (Roy) Tingler Several nieces’ nephews and cousins., In addition to both her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband Orville Ray Yoak, one son Michael Yoak, three brothers Don, Glenn and Paul, and five sisters Sue, Emojean, Louise, Elouise and Betty.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time with a private service at Pleasant Hill Church, 3711 N Calhoun Highway, Grantsville WV 26147 with interment at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
