Diana Mae Miller Obituary

Diana Mae Miller, 80, of Shock, WV, went to be with our Lord on June 10, 2024, after an extended illness.

She was born in Lansing, MI, on August 28, 1943, a daughter of the late Raymond Charles and Retha “Peggy”

She will be missed by her sister, Marie (Kline) Frymier, daughters Shannon and Dendra Miller; grandchildren Dillon Moss, Marshall (Madison) Cottrill, and Isaac Cottrill, as well as nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters in Christ, and all her friends and neighbors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 51 years, Davy Lee Miller, one young son, Marshall Grant Miller, and her brother Raymond Charles “Charlie” Bancroft II.

Diana was a member of the Shock Church of Christ for most of her adult life, but she was a faithful and steadfast Christian her whole life, attending the Church of Christ wherever she lived.

Diana lived a full life, working mostly in the secretarial field, even being a stenographer for the FBI Justice Department in Washington, DC, in 1963 at the age of 20.  She cared for children in her home after she left the workforce.  Taking care of family was always her full-time job and one she never retired from.

Even with her last conversations, she was saying “please”, “thank you” and “I love you”.  She was love…always a kind and caring person.

Her eulogy was given by her grandson Marshall Cottrill, with Marie Frymier and Ronni Facemire offering words, as well.  Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV, was entrusted with Diana’s final arrangements.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
