Doris Jean Kelly Crowder, 84, Spencer, WV, passed away at Jackson General Hospital, on July 8, 2024.
She was born in Big Bend, WV, on November 24, 1938, a daughter of the late Dorsey and Roxie Vietta Boggs Holbert.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters Ada June Holbert and Janet Poling, brothers Charles Holbert, Owen Holbert, and Oliver Holbert, ex-husband Allan Crowder.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her four children, Richard Kelly (Patty), Vietta Lowe (Paul), Rita Holcomb (Adam), and Daniel Kelly (Sasha), brother Starling Holbert, 12 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren, and the father of her children, Robert Kelly.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV, on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Mike Kelly officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hunt Cemetery, Big Bend, WV.
