Stephen H. Duffield was arrested by Deputy C.R. Stephens on June 5th for fishing without a license and Improper Use of a WV I.D.
Deputy Stephens filed a criminal complaint in Magistrate Court stating that on June 5th, 2025 he had observed the defendant fishing along Route 5 in the Little Kanawha River near the city of Grantsville, Town limit. Duffield did not have any photo identification nor a fishing license when requested. Duffield also had an active capias out of Nicholas County for failure to appear. These crimes occurred within the limits of Calhoun.
Duffield is being held at the WV Central Regional Jail without bond, and on a $1,000 bond for the Nicholas County Charge.
