Looking to save money for a family vacation? Need to make a big purchase but don’t have the down payment? Or maybe you’re just wanting to challenge yourself to save more money in 2022. Here is a fun challenge that will give you $10k or more if you start today.
Grab a box of regular envelopes from the store and number them 2-200, using only even numbers. Then everyday you will fill one envelope with the corresponding amount of money. 2 = $2. While you’re probably thinking…. “Yeah that’s great for those smaller numbers, but no way can I fill those bigger ones in a week!” Don’t stress it. You don’t have to fill them in order. Fill them as you can. You can even number them 1-100, this will give you $5k once all the envelopes are full . Create your own system, just set a goal to fill the envelopes.
This is a simple method to save the money you need without having to over complicate your family budget.
