On November 3rd, 2022 Cpl. Jeff Hunt of the West Virginia State Police was contacted by Calhoun 911 of a domestic situation on Pink Road, where a woman had been struck by her boyfriend. Three Officers arrived on scene, Cpl. Jeff Hunt, TFC S.A. McDonald and TFC E.C. Greathouse. Upon their arrival the victim showed the officers bruises on her legs, stating that they’d been inflicted by George Michael Parsons when he punched her with his fists two days prior. The officers also spoke to a witness who stated that he had seen Parsons strike her with his fists on her legs two days prior as she was seated on the couch.
A check through the WVSP Communications in South Charleston revealed that the accused had a prior felony conviction for Domestic Violence on November 9, 2016.
George Michael Parsons was arrested for the felony charge of Domestic Assault and Battery 3rd offense and taken to WV Central Regional jail on November 4th, 2022 where he is being held on $50,000 bond.
