Dustin Scott Gibson, age 37, was arrested on August 21st, 2023 on multiple counts across two counties. Gibson failed to appear in Calhoun when facing the charges of an Accident involving Damage to a Vehicle, No Insurance, and No Registration, at which time Magistrate Richard Postalwait issued a capias for his arrest. Having had a bonding agent sign for his bond, a bailpiece was issued. Gibson is also being held for Roane County Charges of 4 counts of use or presence of a firearm in the commission of a crime, Malicious assault, Person Prohibited in possession of a firearm, 2 counts of wanton endangerment, Domestic Assault, Domestic Battery and Brandishing.
Gibson is being held in the WV Central Regional Jail awaiting trial in both counties.
