Glenville State University Board of Governors met in retreat on Tuesday and Wednesday to kick off the academic school year. As Glenville State University prepares to embark on another year of academic excellence and community engagement, the Board of Governors’ meeting focused on key discussions, decisions, and strategies. The meeting’s agenda included a comprehensive review of the university’s strategic initiatives, the unveiling of innovative programs and curriculum enhancements, and a detailed discussion regarding campus development and infrastructure projects.
Highlights of the meeting included updates on the University’s ongoing commitment to academic innovation and student success, along with advancements in research initiatives, community partnerships, and student support services. The meeting also provided a platform for interactive discussions on fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the campus community.

The President’s Executive Cabinet presented updates that emphasized an increase in enrollment, introduction of new programs, and major upgrades to facilities.
Ann Green, the new Board chairperson, noted that she is excited about the direction Glenville State University is going.
The next Glenville State University Board of Governors meeting will be held on October 18th at 9:00 am in the Waco Center, Room 227/228.
