Glenville State University’s Land Surveying Program to Celebrate 50 Years

A former Glenville State University student uses land surveying equipment in the field. Graduates of the land surveying program are invited back to Glenville State for a reunion celebrating 50 years of the program.

GLENVILLE, WV – The Land Surveying program at Glenville State University is celebrating 50 years in 2022 and all alumni of the program are invited back to campus for a celebration and reunion.

The golden anniversary celebration for the program will take place on Saturday, September 10 at the Glenville State University Waco Center. The Waco Center – which is located at 921 Mineral Road in Glenville – is the current home of the Department of Land Resources and the Land Surveying program. Registration for the event begins at 9:00 a.m., the celebration begins at 10:00 a.m., and lunch is at noon. Tickets are $10 each at the door. Alumni may bring one guest.

A pre-event reception will take place on Friday, September 9 at 6:00 p.m., also at the Waco Center.
